Abstract
The magnetic properties of electrons within one narrow band are studied. Only intra-atomic Coulomb and exchange integrals are considered. Starting from a fully ferromagnetic ground state, one studies, in the Hartree-Fock approximation, the consequences of small deviations from ferromagnetic order on the local properties of the magnetization. It is shown that the magnitude of the local spin density is decreased in the presence of a spin wave. A similar effect occurs for the description of spin disorder and Bloch walls. It is not possible to extend in the ferromagnetic region the simple Heisenberg-like expression derived in a previous paper for the case of a small magnetization.
