Abstract
Two neonates with rapid and irregular pulse rate had an uncommon form of atrial tachycardia. The irregular heart rate detected during fetal monitoring. Postnatal ECG were compatible with the diagnosis multifocal atrial tachycardia or chaotic atrial rhythm. Both patients were treated with digoxin, and the rhythm gradually reverted to sinus. This may represent the 1st description of multifocal atrial tachycardia in the newborn. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
