Abstract
Late appearance of autonomous hyperparathyroidism after successful kidney transplantation is an unusual finding. A patient with hyperparathyroidism owing to an adenoma, who was normocalcemic and had 2 other primary malignancies during the 5 yr interim is reported. Parathyroid gland autonomy and tertiary hyperparathyroidism in relation to kidney transplantation are also discussed. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
