Abstract
The absorption spectra of the products from the reaction of various hydroxy- and methoxy-phenothiazine derivatives with sulphuric acid are described, and their application to problems of identification of metabolites of promazine and other phenothiazine drugs is discussed. A discussion of the nature of the reaction products is included. Keywords
