Abstract
The radiative corrections to first order in , the fine-structure constant, to the leptonic decays of pseudoscalar mesons are treated in a general fashion, in close parallelism to a treatment of Sirlin of radiative corrections to neutron decay. We obtain an accurate expression for the transition rate that is very suitable for experimental analysis.
