Energy Levels inBe9

Magnetic analysis of the reaction ${\mathrm{B}}^{11}(p, \alpha ){\mathrm{Be}}^9$ at three angles verifies the existence of rather broad excited states of ${\mathrm{Be}}^9$ at 1.75 and 3.02 Mev, the peaks of which almost vanish at 90° where the original investigation showed only the well-known 2.43-Mev state.
