Abstract
Oscillator strengths for allowed transitions are calculated for singly ionized nitrogen. The calculations are performed using the method of configuration interaction and all S, P and D states from the ground to the 2p3d 1Po state are considered. Comparison is made with previous theoretical results and with experiment, and recommendations are made with regard to accuracy. Keywords
