Abstract
The numbers of hydration of various amino acids, oligopeptides and saccharides in aqueous solutions and their dependence on the temperature have been determined by the method of ultrasonic interferometry. The hydration on ionic, hydrophilic and hydrophobic sites has been discussed. Particularly, evidence for the: hydration around hydrophobic groups has been obtained. Also, we have established the hydration of the peptide bond.Keywords
