Abstract
The analysis of pressure pulses which are generated in a fissioning gas by neutron irradiation is extended to the case of a dissociating medium including a condensed phase. After a satisfactory check of the process induced in boron trifluoride that was treated previously, the analysis is applied to borazine for which the former method would be quite inadequate since now the effects of dissociation, involving the formation of free liquid boron, become predominant in controlling the thermodynamic behavior of the substance. Keywords
