Abstract
During the development of the atypical spermatocytes in an unidentified snail (Vivipara) (2n = 18), 16 of the chromosomes disintegrate and 16 extra centrioles appear. The kinetochore regions of the 16 abnormal dyad-chromosomes have evidently been transferred to the cytoplasm where they form normal centrioles. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
