Abstract
Twin–twin transfusion syndrome is a complication of monochorionic twin pregnancies associated with extremely high perinatal morbidity and mortality. This article describes the ultrasound features associated with this condition and possible pathophysiological mechanisms. Management options are outlined, including recent developments such as laser ablation of placental vascular communications. Keywords
