Abstract
The occurrence of Klebsiella pneumoniae in surface waters was not found to be ubiquitous. When it was isolated, Escherichia coli could also be found. The fecal coliform to fecal streptococci ratio suggest that its origin could be human animal, or mixed sources. Keywords
