Abstract
A rare case of choroid plexus cavernous angioma is described, only 13 such cases having been reported previously. Tumors in the neonatal period run a short course and have a poor prognosis. Half of those reported were gliomas. The authors feel that the occurrence of tumors in the neonatal period and the pathological nature of the lesions support the "embryonal rest" theory of genesis of certain intracranial neoplasms. Keywords
