Abstract
Cross sections for the production of N+2, N++N2+2 and N2+ by electron impact on N2 have been measured for an energy range from threshold to 1000 eV. These cross sections have been fitted to an empirical formula for future use in modelling various plasmas. Considerable differences from some previous data have been found. Keywords
