Forward Peaks from the Exchange of Odd-Parity Regge Trajectories

It is shown that a parity-doubled (at $t=0\mathrm{}$), $I=1\mathrm{}$, odd-signature trajectory is favored by a simple dynamical mechanism. A set of experiments is described whereby one could settle decisively the question of which (if any) of the possible O(4) conspiracies at $t=0\mathrm{}$ is realized.
