Abstract
A patient with pemphigus foliaceus is presented, in whom remissions were induced repeatedly by ACTH and were repeatedly followed by relapses upon withdrawal of the hormone. These observations are consistent with earlier evidence pointing to the possibility that the adrenal cortex may play a role in this skin disease. Keywords
