Abstract
The two-pion exchange nucleon-nucleon potential is calculated on the basis of the Mandelstam representation of the field-theoretic scattering amplitude. The results contain parameters referring to low-energy pion-nucleon scattering and the renormalized coupling constant only. A comparison of these results with phenomenological potentials is made.
