Two-Particle Correlation and the Associated Multiplicity

Abstract
We propose the study of the final hadron multiplicity as a function of and the momentum of one of the final particles. It is pointed out that this information can reveal some qualitative features of the two-particle correlation function. Predictions of general classes of models concerning this multiplicity are also pointed out.
