Abstract
A second-order lowpass digital filter with independently programmable input gain, selectivity, and center frequency is presented as an example of the switched-current technique. The programmable second-order section has 63 possible gain values, 63 possible selectivity values, and eight possible logarithmically-spaced center frequencies per octave. Design considerations and frequency response simulations are discussed. Keywords
