Abstract
A double blind study to determine the relative efficacy and specificity of thioflavin-T staining of amyloid as compared with the Congo red, crystal violet, and van Gieson technics is reported. The greater accuracy and ease of interpretation of the thioflavin-T stain make it the method of choice for detection of amyloid.[long dash]Authors. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
