Abstract
A superficial multicentric basal cell epithelioma developed in a thermal burn scar on the thorax. Sixteen years following a superficial burn, the patient developed a clinically and histologically characteristic superficial multicentric basal cell epithelioma at the site of the scar. A review of the literature revealed the present case to be the first report of a neoplasm of this type and at this location to develop at the site of a thermal burn scar. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
