Ultrasonic absorption properties of solutions. Part 1.—Dilute solutions of diethylamine in water

Abstract
The ultrasonic absorption properties of dilute aqueous solutions of diethylamine at 0 and 25° are characterized by a single relaxation time, this being associated with the equilibrium, [graphic omitted]. Comparison is drawn with the data for solutions of t-butanol where no such equilibrium is detected.
