Abstract
Two consistent signs of imminent ovulation in the Graafian follicle have been identified using ultrasound. These signs are a line of decreased reflectivity around the follicle and a crenation pattern within the follicle. The signs may be useful in programs such as in vitro fertilization and artificial insemination, in which timing of ovulation is critical. Keywords
