Abstract
Acarospora chlofophana (Wg.) Mass, contains 2 new aliphatic lichen acids, named acaranoic and acarenoic acid. On the basis of biogenetical considerations, spectral data, and comparison with synthetically prepared material, acaranoic acid is assigned the structure (4-hydroxypentadecane-l,2-dicarboxylic acid, gamma-lactone) and acarenoic acid the structure (4-hydroxy-2-pentadecene-l,2-dicarboxylic acid, gamma-lactone).This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
