Abstract

Intramolecular Vicarious Nucleophilic Substitution of Hydrogen (VNS) in N-(3-nitrophenyl)- and N-(3-nitrobenzyl)chloromethylsulfonamides leads to five-, six- and seven-membered benzosultam derivatives.
