Palladium-Complex-Catalyzed Decarboxylation-Carbonylation of Allyl Diethylcarbamates

Abstract
Diethylcarbamic acid allylic esters 1 undergo decarboxylation-carbonylation to give the corresponding β,γ-unsaturated amides 2 under rather forcing conditions [CO (50-80 atm) at 100 °C] in the presence of a palladium (0)-triphenylphosphine complex as catalyst.
