Judgemental Decisions: A Study of Interactions Among Group Membership, Group Functioning, and the Decision Situation.

Abstract
In an experimental investigation of judgmental decision making (JDM) strong interactions are found among membership types (experts, representatives, coworkers), group functioning (interacting, nominal), and six decision situations. The findings suggest that meta-decisions made when forming a JDM group affect the effectiveness of decisions, and they imply limitations in generalizing prior research.
