Abstract
Silicon-29 and carbon-13 NMR spectroscopy is employed to determine the structures of stable five- and six-coordinated organosilicon complexes formed by the addition of certain aliphatic acid carbohydrates (such as gluconic acid, glucoheptonic acid and saccharic acid) to aqueous alkaline silicate solutions.Keywords
