Abstract
Diethyl phosphite and diphenylphosphinodithioic acid add to carbon-nitrogen double bonds in compounds 4-[5-[(P-methoxybenzylidene) amino]-1,3,4-oxadiazol 2-yl] pyridine I, 4-[5-[(2-thenylidene) amino]-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl] pyridine II and 4-[5-(piperonylidene) amino] 1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl] pyridine III to give the corresponding phosphonates Ia, IIa, IIIa; and diphenyl phosphinodithioates Ib, IIb, IIIb, respectively. The given structures were based upon analytical, chemical and spectroscopic results. Keywords
