Abstract
The essential principles underlying the use of bulked and textured yarns in woven fabrics are discussed in general terms and reference is made to some of the more important practical aspects of weaving and finishing. Factors affecting the bulking behaviour of the high-bulk acrylic yarns are considered in more detail, special emphasis being laid on the importance of yarn and fabric structure. Keywords
