Abstract
As a rather lengthy introduction, I should like to relate to you an account of a recent effort to solve a problem having to do with the interest rate which is equivalent to a given carrying charge in installment buying and to make the various solutions which were proposed intelligible to teachers of arithmetic in the upper grades.Keywords
