Abstract
We consider a steady state heat flux flowing through a metallic slab in contact with liquid helium, and study the spatial variations of the phonon and electron heat fluxes in the vicinity of the solid-helium interface, by solving simultaneously the phonon Boltzmann equation and the electron energy balance equation. A mean phonon temperature, defined in each mode, presents a non linear behaviour. The influence of the latter on the Kapitza resistance is discussedKeywords
