DETERMINATION OF THE THIRD ORDER MULTIPLE SCATTERING SIGNAL IN TETRAHEDRAL CLUSTERS IN LIQUID SOLUTIONS

Abstract
By using the framework of the multiple scattering (MS) theory for interpreting x-ray absorption spectra we show how to extract the third order MS signal in the case of tetrahedral transition metal complexes in liquid solution. This signal is related to the metal-ligand1-ligand2-metal path length and clearly bears information on the three particle correlation function
