Abstract
A technique has been developed for the ultrasonic investigation of renal disease in infants using a specially designed water-bath with a conventional ultrasonic scanner. This permits ultrasonic studies of the renal tract from the neonatal period onwards; the procedure does not distress the child and the water acts as an excellent coupling medium. Keywords
