Abstract
A procedure making use of virulent and intact Treponema pallidum as an antigen and fluorescein labeled antiglobulin as an indicator of treponemal antibody coupling is described. Tests on syphilitic rabbits are compared with other treponemal and nontreponemal procedures and consideration is given to the possible use of this method in relation to the diagnosis of human disease. Keywords
