Abstract
The fold content of uniaxially drawn polyhexamethylene adipamide (nylon 66) is measured as a function of annealing conditions by an infrared tilting method. Unoriented, rapidly quenched and isothermally crystallized samples were also studied as a function of annealing temperature. The incremental changes in fold content and crystallinity were compared as the samples were sequentially annealed under restraint and relaxed conditions at increasing temperatures. Keywords
