Abstract
SUMMARY Initial results of long-term trials in northern Nigeria indicate that deficiencies of potassium and trace elements, and soil acidity, may become important under continuous cultivation on some soils, in addition to the more common deficiencies of nitrogen and phosphorus.Keywords
