Abstract
Formation cross sections and thick-target recoil properties of 13 products in the mass region from the interaction of with 300- and 11.5-GeV protons have been determined. The values of are consistent with unity for and decrease with decreasing below this mass number, a trend that is most notably exhibited by neutron deficient iodine nuclides. The recoil ranges and values are essentially the same at both energies.
