Abstract
The preparation and properties of molybdenum disulphide and nickel subsulphide catalysts, used for the decomposition of simple heterocyclic compounds, are described. Equilibria between nickel sulphide, nickel subsulphide and metallic nickel have also been examined by application of magnetic measurements. The adsorption of hydrogen and of the heterocyclic compounds has been determined on the various catalysts over a wide temperature range. Keywords
