Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 19-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of hemoptysis.She was well until one month earlier, when she began to experience morning stiffness in the fingers and knees, accompanied by intermittent swelling of the wrists, fingers, knees and feet and fatigue. One week before admission she coughed up a small amount of blood while performing calisthenics; a nonproductive cough persisted. On the day of entry she complained of a dull headache; her family thought that she appeared dyspneic and noticed that her cough was more prominent and her sputum tinged with blood.
