Abstract
Development assistance for interactive database applications (DAIDA) is an experimental environment for the knowledge-assisted development and maintenance of database-intensive information systems from object-oriented requirements and specifications. Within the DAIDA framework, an approach to integrate different tasks encountered in software projects via a conceptual modeling strategy has been developed. Emphasis is put on integrating the semantics of the software development domain with aspects of group work, on social strategies to negotiate problems by argumentation, and on assigning responsibilities for task fulfillment by way of contracting. The implementation of a prototype is demonstrated with a sample session. Keywords
