Abstract
Various techniques for performing stapedectomy are discussed. A living tissue graft sealing the oval window, particularly Teflon-piston against veingraft, i.e., the Teflon-interposition technique is perferred. Intra-operative problems of associated diseases and of the technical difficulties encountered during stapedectomy are related and their treatment explained.
