Abstract
The pressure changes of the descending colon were described before and after total and selective vagotomy combined with Finney''s pyloroplasty as estimated by telemetry. The results obtained from the study of 20 dogs showed that the motility of the descending colon was extremely reduced after total vagotomy with no change after selective vagotomy. These results could be applicable to humans. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
