Abstract
The consideration of a small body of literature concerned with the relationship between the nature of emotional arousal and the effects of an opportunity to wait with another person shows researchers' unfortunate tendency not to sample systematically the variables manipulated in their experiments. This failure leads to difficulty in integration of the results. A replotting of data from two of the studies, however, in which there was an overlap in the manipulations used indicated a similarity of outcome which may suggest that a sanguinity of attitude about the potential integration of results may not be inappropriate. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
