Abstract
It is shown that the approach of Pollak (see J. Non-cryst. Solids, vol.11, p.1 (1972)) for the construction of a percolation path leads to the result expected for a random tree. Since regular trees and lattices have different values for the critical concentration, this approach is not applicable for random lattices. Keywords
