Abstract
A theory for optical transitions in superlattices placed in magnetic and electric fields parallel to the growth axis is presented. A six-band model that takes into account band mixing and nonparabolicity effects is developed. Numerical results show excellent agreement with available experimental data if excitonic shifts are taken into account. Keywords
