Abstract
The composition of a liquid membrane and the ion solution conditions were investigated for highly efficient transport of Na+ using a liquid membrane incorporating nonensin. As a result, Na+ in an aqueous solution could be nearly completely (more than 99 %) separated using a 2-fluoro-2′-nitrodiphenyl ether (FNDPE) liquid membrane containing monensin.Keywords
