Abstract
Previous work has shown that three factors largely determine the handle of suiting materials. The present paper describes similar work on lingerie and dress fabrics and summarizes the previous work on suiting fabrics. Smoothness, stiffness, and thickness account for most of the differences in handle in all the fabrics examined. Keywords
