Abstract
An extremely rare case of primary hydatid cyst of the adrenal gland is reported. Adrenal hydatid cysts are usually a mani\festation of generalized echinococcosis. Only nine primary cases have so far been reported in the literature. The presentation is insidious. Correct preoperative diagnosis is difficult. Clinical and investigative findings are non-specific and ambiguous. Surgery is the treatment of choice. Keywords
