Abstract
Pedronia festerianaLizer y Trelles is found onCereus aethiops, Cleistocactus baumannii, Eriocereus bonplandiiandE. martiniiin Argentina. It severely distorts the growing tips and could possibly be used to control these weed cacti. The species is transferred toHypogeococcusand redescribed from material collected recently in Argentina.Pseudococcus eriocereiis described as new also from the roots ofEriocereus bonplandii.Keywords
